According to the Portal, space, network, country, number of reflections of Vietnamese Internet users about the case of fraud on the space network in Vietnam has skyrocketed in the last 3 weeks last month 6-2024. Numbers have increased from 815 up to 965 and laminating mold 1.843 reflected only in the last week of the second quarter of this year.
Compared with a weekly average from January 5-2024 back ago, the number of reflection has increased from 2 to more than 4 times. Own in the last week of October 6, every day there are more than 263 reflection is sent about the system's Monitoring center, safe space network national – NCSC belonging to the Department of Safety information (TT-TT).
Mr. Nguyen Van Thu, director - General network Security technology group Bkav, said: “The service of online scam in our country tends to increase rapidly, causing a sensation in the opinion. However, this is very normal by online scam happens not only in Vietnam but across the world. We need to accept this fact and have many measures in sync to avoid, minimize the scams.”
According to experts of Bkav, the main causes lead to this condition is due to awareness about the safe network is not high: Many people are not vigilant when you receive a call, sms, email or visit the website scams.
Besides, phishing objects increasingly use tricks more sophisticated, spanking, psychological, and greed of the user. High technology is the application makes people difficult to detect.
In addition, the network environment without borders, the fraudulent activity takes place on the range, cross-border, making it difficult for authorities in handling thoroughly.
To prevent, minimize this condition, experts of Bkav recommends people need to raise awareness about the dangers on the cyberspace, skills, ensure information security, updates the form of a new scam.
Along with that, the need to promote activities and communication, training and guidance measures of prevention for each object, ages and expertise with materials easy to understand, concise, and approachable. From there, raise awareness of citizens about the risk of information security network.
