Japanese successfully developed chipset transceiver wireless data reach the highest speed in the world by CMOS technology rates of 640 Gbps.
Professor Kenichi Okada and his colleagues at The Tokyo Institute of technology has partnered with the Institute of information technologies and National Media to research and development of chip transceiver, wireless use band D new process 65 nm and CMOS technology (semiconductor complementary metal oxide silicon). The research results are presented at The seminar IEEE 2024, taking place October 16-20/6 in Honolulu, Usa.
According to Okada, remarkable points of the chipset is achieving high speed just by CMOS technology cheap, saves cost when mass produced.

When using modulation 16QAM, speed per channel reaches 160 Gbps and total gain speed 640 Gbps, 100 times faster than with systems 5G available on the market.
